Sri Lanka Insurance - one of Sri Lanka’s leading insurance providers wanted to expand their website, which allows users to sign-up for insurance policies online. Due to the prevailing pandemic situation, they required the project to kick off sooner, as an add-on to their existing website.

My approach was to reuse many elements from their existing website to complete the project with minimum effort to meet the tight deadline.

The signing-up process was very lengthy at first, and it was not easy for a general user to understand. After having several discussions with the client, I managed to simplify the signing-up process into 5 easy steps and streamlined the lengthy process.

I seamlessly integrated the wizard steps into the existing menu to make it a part of the whole experience. Even with the colour differences, I had to ensure a better user experience. The colours used were from the same palette as the main website.
